I have an APC Smart-UPS model 1000 left over from my old office. The sticker on the back says 670W 4.5A max. I'd like to know whether I can safely use it with my new system.
I know diddly about electrics, but I do know that my new psu is 700W. Does this mean that the UPS would be unsafe to use, wouldn't work at all, or just that the battery would drain faster in the event of a power cut?
Full system which would be run through the UPS is FX60, 2x ATI X1900, 2x WD 150 Raptors, Swiftech Apex watercooling, Dell 2405FPW 24" LCD, X-Fi Fatal1ty. And a fair bit of overclocking
Advice appreciated
