Unable to access a particular website using Android phone, all other devices work.

This suddenly occurred this morning, I get a message "This page isn't working" HTTP error 500. This only happens on my Google Pixel 7a phone, I can access the forum on all other devices, PC and Ipad and my wife's iPhone, it seems to be an entirely Android issue.

I've tried so far: clearing cache, changing password, using different browsers, stopping my anti virus, but nothing seems to work. I can occasionally get it to work using Firefox but that stops working after a while. Be grateful for any suggestions.

The site is Stargazers Lounge. I did try to access the site by 4G with the same result.
I've actually managed to get it working by changing the default browser to DuckDuckGo(lol)

I have been able to access the site, paste a shortcut on the home page and then return the default browser to Firefox and still I'm able to access the site.
I've absolutely no idea why that has worked.
