hi,
im not sure if this is ment to be posted here or on software part of the forums . so sorry in adavnce if its in the wronge place.

iv just upgraded my mobo , cpu and ram and everything was ok until i validated windows 7 now im unable to to access my bios . all that happens is it boots into windows right away .

iv tryed disableing the ASrock instant boot thing but that hasnt worked .

any ideas please .

What kind of keyboard are you using? If you're using a USB, you might want to try a ps2 instead (or using a USB-PS2 converter).

More expensive mobo's support USB pre-post, but as yours is a budget brand, it might not, and will need the keyboard plugged into the ps2.

you mean you get no ASrock splash screen or drive detection, it just goes from screen on to the windows 7 is starting screen?

this , i dont get the option of accessing the bios. from turning the power on there is a black screen for a few seconds then the windows loading bar comes up then to desktop.

before validating windows it was fine , i was able to access the bios without a problem.

now thats really odd. can you get into the bios by hitting the appropriate key whilst you have the black screen? if so, check you havent enabled quickboot or something.
failing that, reset bios see if that helps.

its F2 to access the bois on my mobo and no rapidly hitting it doesnt do that thing unfotunely .

its the clr cmos button the the motherboard is the same thing as reseting the bios right or wronge ?
