Unable to access media server after changing router

I recently changed ISP which involved getting a new router. I've gone from Sky (Sagemcom F@st somethingorother) to TalkTalk (Huawei HG633).

All my devices (wireless and wired) can access the internet. So far so good. However, I can no longer access media stored on my Synology NAS box via my WDTV Live or Denon AV receiver. I used to be able to go to the media server option on either of these two devices and could browse and play files on my NAS. When I do this now it can't even find the NAS box, let alone let me browse it.

The devices are all wired and nothing on the network has changed apart from the router, so I'm guessing there's some settings on there that I'm missing.

I've given the NAS box a static IP. I can still access my mapped network drive on my PC and can still access files on the NAS outside my network using DSFile.

Do I need to setup port forwarding even if all the devices are on the same LAN? Any other settings I need to set on the router?

Hmm, I've powered the devices off at some stage, but didn't try do all of them together. Will try it when I get back from work this evening.

Don't ISP's say not to keep turning off your router during the first few days as it'll seem like a connection issue?

Also, one other thing I've noticed is that it looks like the router itself has some kind of media server abilities. You can plug in a usb stick and apparently share files off that. Might this somehow be getting in the way of the proper media server on my NAS box?

Cheers guys. I unplugged absolutely everything then plugged them back in one by one and it solved it. Classic IT solution.I feel embarrassed for not trying that sooner :o
