Hey,
I am having some issues with a work's server that I have never dealt with before, and there doesn't seem to be to much information on it online.
Basically, whenever I am trying to load (for example) services.msc I recieve the following error message
"MMC cannot open the file c:\windows\system32\services.msc.
This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file"
I have doubled checked, the files (services) IS in place. If I load the MMC program itself, it loads but when I try to add snap ins, it once again comes up with various errors.
I am logged in as an admonistrator, so obviously have full account permissions, but its almost as if the permissions for these snap ins have been removed, or perhaps there is another issue that it could be?
The OS as mentioned in the title is Windows 2003 Server Small Business edition, with SP1 installed.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions then feel free to help ^.^
