I've got Server 2008 Standard installed on my laptop for development purposes. When logged in as the local administrator, I can click on the battery icon in the system tray and change the power plan easily. When logged in with my user account (whose account type ha been set to Administrator), I can still click on the battery icon but the options are grayed out.
I then have to click a link to open up the power settings in the Control Panel, go through UAC and then change the settings. I can't figure out how to get my admin user account to work as the local admin does.
Any ideas?
