Hello all, could do with some help. I've recently brought a 8600k and a Asus strix rog z370 h gaming motherboard, an I'm unable to change the cpu multiplier :(.
No matter if I set the AI overclock tuner to auto, xmp or manual the cpu multiplier box gives me no other option other than auto.
Ive done the following;- asus multicore is disabled, set the cores to sync all, everything else is still in auto in that option area as there was no need to change them if I can't change the multiplier.
ive updated the bios, rolled back the bios, incase it was that. so reloaded the most recent bios again.

Am I missing something? can anyone please help it would be greatly appreciated

Not sure if your aware, but you just type in the box where it says Auto and it will replace the value with whatever you type.

Thanks I shall give that a go. I’ve clicked in the box before and nothing happened. I didn’t try typing as all the other boxes were drop boxes with options.
