Unable to complete Wii System Update

Fired up the Wii for the first time in a few years today so figured I'd better do a system update. The internet connection test passes, but when I do a system update it fails about a quarter of the way through with a 32007 error.

Any ideas how to fix this? Looking online mostly seems to relate to people with hacked Wiis, but mine is an original unmodified one.

Try restarting your router as one result when I googled the code mentioned that the router could be the issue.

Think it may be the router, i had this issue as well but the signal isnt very strong on a wireless connection so we have a booster thing, once connected to that the update completed with no problems, im guessing a restart of the router would have solved the problem as the booster acts as its own access point.
