Recently i installed AVG 8 to my laptop, after 3 days of usage i can no longer connect to the internet, the little internet light on my laptop stays orange instead of the blue colour it used to be, and i can't find any networks on my wireless network panel. (i am trying to connect wirelessly btw)
Only other thing i have installed lately is a Cellink Bluetooth bta6030 adapter, im not sure which of these has caused the problem but its definately one of them. Uninstalling both hasnt done a blind bit of difference.

I'm on Windows Vista 32 bit btw, and my laptop is a HP G6000.

Any help on this would be great, fire any suggestions at me.

do you have a wireless on/off button on your laptop ? :P

AVG Internet secutiry might stop you accessing the internet if it screws up but it wont stop the list of wireless networks showing up..

yes its turned on lol, im not sure whats going on im lookin for more of an indepth solution, ive tried all the basic turn it on turn it off stuff lol.

Most likely culprit IMO would be the Bluetooth adapter.

Before uninstalling AVG or Bluetooth, I would have connected an ethernet cable to confirm it was a wireless only issue, which would then suggest AVG not at fault.

My guess - I think the likely solution would be reinstalling your wireless card drivers as provided by HP, as the Bluetooth install probably overrode something they use.

Rgds
