Unable to control fan in bios?

I recently brought a cooler master SickleFlow 120 fan and installed it, plugged the 3pin connector into my motherboard (which is an MSI H61M-P31) and when i go into the bios, i can control the CPU fan and the other external fan in my case, but not the new one i just put in?

Any ideas?

Maybe the motherboard doesn't offer 3 pin fan control to all fan headers. Check your manual for which ones offer control and use them. If control is limited to CPU headers then use a splitter if your fans are of the same type ( ie 3pin or 4 pin).

Yeah i found this with my mobo, one of my headers is just on full all the time, the other 3 i can control.

Id your sickleflow green? I have that fan too
