It's been about four years since I last poked my head into here.

I seem to be constantly connected and due to download limits, I wish to disconnect but am unable to. It just seems to connect as soon as I boot up without asking me first. I have recently switched to Win XP from 2k and would usually know the answer but for the life of me, I can't find the settings.

Can anyone please help.....cheers.

or dissable the connection (CP/Network Connections right click, choose dissable). Surely your download limit can't be so low that you have to resort to this though ?

Thanks for the replies guys. I've worked out how to turn it off without walking over to the modem and physically unplugging. However, it is somewhat temperamental in reestablishing the connection but needs must....
