unable to download

I cant seem to download anything. Today I tried to dowload firefox and I see the download box and it gets to 100% and then says complete. but the file is nowhere to be seen. I have tried laods of things and wondered if you guys could help me please.

its not even in your browser's cache?
try running/open rather than saving maybe/

So where did you save it to? What are you downloading it with?
What OS is your machine running even?

it's your AV scanning it, check task manager > processes, i take it they're big game related files?

disable AV, or just wait

I am running windows vista. I am using the normal windows downloader. saving to desktop and other places (tried loads to see if it would work)

it's just the fact I cant download anything. tried to get winamp and cant get that even.

looked in your %username%/downloads folder?

Sounds silly, but try rebooting then download the file again.

tried everything people have said in this post. Nothing works. Was ganna make a boot disk but can't even frind a way to make one.

check the location of your downloads
the data should be getting stored somewhere

well i manages to get firefox off my mate and installed it and when I download stuff with firefox it works fire. Hmmmmm weird one.
