Unable to get a BSOD Kernel Dump.

I need to get a BSOD Kernel Dump by deliberately crashing my computer. When I do it the BSOD says it is gathering information about the crash but it stays at 0% and does not write anything to disk. I have tried changing the location of the dump file without success. Booting into safe mode made no difference either. I have run "sfc /scannow" and it came back clean. I have run out of ideas. This is the process I have followed.

Bingo! I had only enabled the pagefile to go on a different faster bigger drive then my OS one. Once I changed it back to C:\ the memory dump worked.
