Just buildt new PC, input SSD, Intel 730 and unable to install Windows, error message is GPT Partition style. MOBO is Asus 7170m

Try removing any partitions on the SSD by clicking on Advanced Settings during the OS install. Delete the existing partition(s) and recreate your partition(s) and see if it will then carry on with the install. If not then it's possible that the SSD doesn't support UEFI (more than likely not in Asus's Secure Boot database in fact). In which case go in to the Bios and in "Boot" or whatever it's called and change it to use Bios instead of UEFI (you may have to disable Secure Boot first). Save the settings, reboot and try the install again.

Looks like may have now let me now. I don't remeber having this many problems last time did anything like this, though maybe have forgotten over time.
