unable to load an attachment in outlook 2003

hey all,

I have a user that is unable to load an attachment in outlook 2003. when a mew mail message window is openned we can drap and drop a attachment on to it ok, however if we use the paper-clip button and loacte the same file, when we press open, it hangs and i have to force close outlook.

I have done the normal stuff, cleared out temp files and run the decet and repair but no joy.

any ideas??
