Hey guys, was wondering if i was missing something.

My specs are below, before that i had 3GB of Geil Low latency 4 - 4 - 4 - 12 PC6400 ram 800Mhz, which i overclocked to 888mhz which seemed to enable me to oc my CPU to 3Ghz, however since getting this 4gb corsair 5 5 5 18 mem it just doesn't like anything i try, up the multiplier, no luck, up the fsb no luck, up the mem fsb, no luck, up anything at all it seems, you guessed it, no luck.

Any ideas / recommendations?

Correct voltage for the ram? Have you tried increasing the NB voltage a notch or two? As you are now running 4Gb of ram some boards need a bit of a boost in voltage. Could be a memory/board incompatibility.

Admittedly have not tried upping the NB voltage, will give that a go tonight, any idea what it should be (Only voltages i usually play with are mem / cpu)

I think the memory should be MORE compatible with my board as previously i couldn't even boot with 4GB (Corsair is on the QVL, where as Geil was not)
