Just thought i'd point out gaming chairs are an absolute joke.

In any case i've tried using WD40 also keep in mind this chair is 2 days old, can't get the lift out from the wheel base.

If i hit it with a mallet any harder it will probably damage the lift which i don't want to happen as the chair is being returned.

2 days now... ive tried... 2 days....

Watch the videos on youtube of it - there is a trick to hitting it just right on the rim to pop it out - had to do it a few months back. You can probably hit it a bit harder than you think if you get the spot right you shouldn't damage anything.

I've watched the vids Rroff, tried as they have, tried much harder, any harder and i might aswell be doing full swings at it.

2 days mate... sick of this chair now just want it gone.

Is this an IKEA Markus? I had a similar experience with one of those, and I ended up selling it as I just couldn't get it apart.

:Edit: OK so I actually read your post now and I can see it isn't a Markus :o It does go to show though that this is issue isn't just gaming chairs, it's common.

No Zefan its a Noble Chairs Icon :(. I think i'm going to have to take it to a shop to have them remove it.

No my gaming chair comment was more related to my dislike of them now. I'd rather have say a Herman Miller Aeron or a proper ergonomic chair than a gaming chair.
