Hi all,
I’m having an issue after changing my CPU and updating my PIN along with entering the BitLocker recovery key. Now, when I try to set up my PIN again, I get the following message:
"Your PIN is no longer available due to a change in the security settings. Click set up your PIN again."
However, when I click to set up my PIN, I receive this error:
"The User Profile Service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded."
Now, I’m stuck. I tried to enter Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), but when I do, my mouse and keyboard stop working, so I’m unable to navigate through any of the recovery options.
Has anyone run into a similar issue after changing hardware (like a CPU) and dealing with BitLocker? Any advice on how to get my system back to normal would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!

What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Booting into WinRE: I can get to the recovery environment, but my mouse and keyboard stop working once there.
- Changing USB Ports: Tried plugging my mouse and keyboard into different USB ports (including both USB 2.0 and 3.0), but they still don't work in WinRE.
