Unable to setup Eyefinity on a HD6770

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup eyefinity on my work machine and failing miserably. The setup is this:

Monitor #1: Dell P2311H, DVI -> DP Via adaptor (Saphire 44000-02-40R Active)
Monitor #2: Dell P2311H, DVI
Monitor #3: Dell 2007WFP, DVI

The problem is with monitor #3. When I try to extend the desktop in Catalyst Control Centre I get the below message:

If I hit continue it disables one of the 23" monitors which is obviously not what I want.

Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

This is a passive adapter.

Despite the invoice and advert saying this is a Saphire 44000-02-40R Active adapter (google that and the first hit is where I bought it) I googled the part number printed on what I received and it turns out to be this, a Hosiden DVI > DP straight through adapter.

Time to write a complaint email
