Just got my new PC through to my Uni Dorms, no screw driver though :(. Any idea on alternatives from everyday Items lol

I wonder what my Q6600 is like, I'll let you know if theres still any good ones about! I'll also give a review and benchmarks on the 4850 PCS+. Once I get a screw driver or something to use as one :(
 
not the best idea but keys :) small locker keys i have used before. or go ask people you never know someone will have one and if your new you will end up meeting new people :)
 
Thanks, I am probably going to have to go into town. Live 5mins from Birmingham City Centre, no idea where things are and people here don't get up til 1-2pm :)

I am so looking forward to having a PC that can play games nicely, been using a laptop for over a year. 8600M GT is crap. I've already met most people, I'm not some unsocial creature :P lol. I don't think a screw driver is something people will bring with them until they need it, anyway I'll be back later once I've got one.

Lol, I was rocking a screwdriver set before I moved in. IKEA self-assembly furniture is popular stuff!

Ask about, or go and explore - either way, it's all good.
 
Everyone was asleep earlier, but I found the handyman and he lent one to me :)

All done, installing Windows Vista atm. The Heatsink is warm, most important thing when you can't look at the CPU temp :). The Arctic Cooler 7 pro is a pain to fit, I'd rather have screws, at least they stay in once there in.

Will be doing some benchmarks later on today, its the Power Colour PCS+, the fan is very quiet haven't got to temps yet (on laptop atm). The core is at 685Mhz so I'll see how it overclocks also.

The Samsung T200 is looking pretty good right now, but obviously still at 1024 x 768 or whatever vista installer is set at.

I haven't got any recent games, so will have to be the likes of FEAR, Oblivion and World in Conflict. Going to get Crysis as well later in town though.

Can't believe how excited I am, will be able to play games lol. Sad I know
 
^ its not sad at all,having a brand new pc is exciting especially when its yours and you dont have to let other people use it :P
