I'm a bit confused, who would pay this much for PSU that's made by a company nobodys heard of, has no website, google comes up with nothing, I assume its a holding company owned by caseking.. I think if I had £200 pounds to spend on a psu it wouldn't be going with this one!

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £210.49
(includes shipping: £10.50)

Kolink is one of OCUK's sister Caseking group companies, these PSUs are the replacement for the "OCUK Battle" style PSU lines from yesteryear, they are made in eastern Europe IIRC.

I have bought two of their PSUs, one works fine, the other blew up some HDDs because it was never tested before leaving the factory. Don't plan on buying any more.

If there's enough of expensive components for PC to need that much power that kind PSU is somethich which shouldn't be put into it

While not bad that definitely isn't exactly good PSU.

Hold-up time is bad so short transient interruptions in power would make PC reboot/shutdown more easily.

Ripple is already serious as new and newer gets better with age:

(some undersized capacitors wouldn't be good thing for endurance either because of them getting stressed more than properly sized)

Protections seem to be cheap China stuff good.
There seem to be no realistic OCP triggering points on the 3.3V and 5VSB rails. The same goes for OPP since we stopped the test at around 1508 W load in order to avoid breaking the PSU (and possibly a piece of our equipment). Finally, there is no OTP, and inrush-current protection isn't properly implemented.

And EMC compatibility is another part cut off from its budget.
We haven't seen such bad EMI results for any other PSU we have tested thus far. We checked the program's parameters multiple times in order to be sure we had obtained the results correctly.

As car analogy while some Wartburg is still car don't expect quality of Rolls Royce from it.
