I just watched this film for the first time since I was twelve I think and I have to say, what an absolutely stunning film. When I first watched it, I was expecting something like X-Men I think as I found it to be massively boring, but watching it again with an open mind I was actually speechless as to how good I thought it was.

What's the general consensus on Unbreakable? :)

I really enjoy how real Bruce Willis' superhero is. Although there is that element of the supernatural about him, basing his strengths and weaknesses in reality really helps to distance the film from the overstylised graphic novel type of comic films that have become so popular recently.

Sequels would have been awesome. I think the best thing about it is the quiet nature of it all in contrast to big-budget superhero movies. Everyone is eerily calm and often whispering, so it makes the scenes where there's shouting or fighting all the more startling. Really like the tense scene where the kid has the gun.

Thought it was OK, good first time round but not much replay value.

The poncho/rescue scene was very good though. Especially where the kids rescue him, was literally like watching a comic book - very good.

I thought it was decent when I first saw it, I wouldn't watch it over and over for the "action" but as a different take on the run-o-the-mill superhero story it was bloody superb.
