I am on a bit of a budget for the next couple of months, so I can only have one game, but I have made a short list, but cannot decide on which one to have. I would like some assistance of which one to buy, a reason would be good but not essential

TIA :)

The List in no order:

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Tomb Raider Legend
Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth II (Collector's Edition)
Star Wars: Empire At War
The Godfather

I could just wait for these:

Half-Life 2: Aftermath
Hellgate: London
Black & White 2: Battle Of The Gods (Expansion Pack)

Oblivion. Without a shadow of a doubt.
aye... Oblivion hands down... Tomb Raider demo was good, but i think the full game could be short lived (replayability with TR games was always poor as well... finish it once, pack it away forever IMO).

as for
Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth II (Collector's Edition)
Star Wars: Empire At War
The Godfather

not played any of them, although The Godfather is supposed to be pretty decent.

Oblivion hands down though, it'll eat up your spare time like nobodies business... you'll just want to have a quick blast on it and 3 hours will have passed.

wasn't aware of a B&W 2 expansion pack though, girlfriend will be pleased :)

Agreed, oblivion is the best game on that list, breath taking scenery with excellent gameplay and replay ability. Due to classes, star signs and races etc.

Same, i'm just picking plants at the moment (getting all types) Plus Wondering around dungeons for treasure. Cba with the main quest (yet) lol :p

I have oblivion, but i uninstalled it as my GFX card couldnt run it ( im getting a new GFX card soon hopefully ! )

But what ive seen of this game, it looks amazing, i cant wait to play it properly.

another vote for oblivion, if you don't rush the quests or over use fast travel (missing a lot of stuff by doing so) you're looking at more than 300 hours of gameplay for one character alone. even if you have to turn the graphics down the gameplays there to make up for it. i was gutted in having to switch the grass off, for a few minutes only...

if your a bit of a modder then it could eat up even more time.

if you want value for money go for oblivion without a doubt on that.

as for the rest,

Tomb Raider Legend - bit too short but a VERY good game
The Godfather - this is an awful game, avoid at all costs. it aspires to be GTA but fails miserably. it looks dated, the driving is like playing a spectrum game, very clunky. and tbh its boring.

the other RTS games arent really my kind of subject matter so thats why i dont really like them
