My old rig is getting rather tired pluggin through the new games so ive decided to go for it and start my first build.

Here's what iv'e come up with:
32 bit XP (i'm aware of ram limitations but still dubious about the stability of vista 64 bit)
Intel Q6600 G0(overclocked to 3.2ghz and go from there if possible) £152.74
Asus P5k Premium £117.49
2 sets of GeIL 800mhz 2x1GB Black Dragon 4 4 4 12 £41.11 each (I've heard they can go up to 900mhz whilst still keeping the tight timings.)
Point of View GeForce 8800gts 512mb £211.49 (Is PoV an acceptable make?)
Seagate Barracuda 500gb sata II 32mb cache £72.84
Pioneer DVR 212 SATA £21.14
Tuniq Tower 120 £32.89
Antec Nine Hundred gaming case £72.84
OCZ ModXStream 780W Silent SLI ready ATX2 PSU £93.99 (is this a bit too much power or would it provide room for upgrades in future?)
total : £857.63

Any reccomendations/suggestions as to different parts or compatability issues would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

i would change the PSU to a corsair HX520, it will power that rig without a problem
for ram i suggest the GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit, many have used them and they seem to be a popular choice. for personal reasons a would get the abit IP35 pro as the MB, i have one and it OCed my q6600 to 3.1GHz with ease.

i would also get a lian li case as i dont like the antec 900
