Hi all,

This will be my first flirtation with watercooling. Its more of a sanity check to ensure proposed system config is viable.

uses : predominantly a video/photo production suite ( no gaming)

current Kit;

Corsair 800d
i7 2600/7k (will be clocked)
16 GB ram
gtx 280 (previous build)
Be quiet darkpower 650w
SSD's

proposed loop ;

EK HF full nickel cpu block
Koolance GTX full block
Xspc rx360
laing DDC 10w (noise suppression ?) + XSPC reservoir top
In line temp monitors
In line flow meter
Aquacomputer
Masterkleer 7/16
Compression fittings throughout
GT 1450 fans
Shoggy sandwich or other mounting option.

Moot point, trying to fathom proposed loop configuration , if someone would be so kind to propose a quick schematic of best routing config....

Thoughts welcome.....

I'd echo the above, a D5 vario with a top for ease with fittings and silence, hang the pump from the bottom of the res. You could dispense with the res all together and suspend the pump from the rad with a t-line for filling, that would be an interesting way to do it and the 800d has room to fit a fill port on the back or a qdc for filling.

If you look at my build log in sig you'll see what can be fitted in, although I'm using a bay reservoir because I'm strange.

For routing you just need to put in all the blocks and have a figure out for the best route, bear in mind that you'll amost certainly want some rotary 45 and possibly 90 degree fittings to make the routing easier.

Thanks for the links & responses guys ...food for thought.

In terms of loop configuration it was more ie Pump > res...that flow diagram that i was after...just to start my planning stage..

In your experience would a single rx360 have enough thermal dispersion to cope with proposed cpu and gpu ?

Thanks once again
