Underclock my RAM?

I own 2 X 1GB corsair xms2dhx PC6400. Is that the only speed it can run at or will it be able to run at lower speeds like 5300 or 4200?

It's backwards compatible if that's what your asking!

Any particular reason you wanna underclock it?

Yes, Ive got another pair of Geil 1gb sticks rated at 5400, so i want to add it and make them run at the same speed

Ok that's doable but if plug n frag doesnt work then you may need to manually set things up in BIOS as the board may get confused by reading two different sets of [SPD] info . . .
