Underlay

Hi all,

I bought 14mm engineered wood for my flat(first floor flat) and gold 5mm underlay.

30m² Deal - Royale Sonic Gold 5mm Comfort Underlay for Laminate or Wood Flooring - 2 Roll - 30m² https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B086HTKMZK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_CXFBM6E2CB8YK9PTE2D5

I need to know if this is the best I can do or if there are other materials that I could put alongside those.

The floor is concrete flooring with hardwood floor. I’m leaving the hardwood floor as it is and putting the underlay on top and then the engineered wood top layer.

the lady downstairs say that can hear everything. The flat is currently empty as it is being completely refurbished.

Have you checked your lease to see if hardwood floors are allowed instead of carpet?

As I said the flat has already a parquet hardwood floor that I’m leaving as it is and I’m putting the new engineered wood on top and beneath it I’m putting the gold underlay
