Understairs storage

Mrs has decided that she wants understairs storage so looking to do something similar to this - http://prntscr.com/awnjyc

Got a guy coming to take a look on Saturday at our new build to see how viable it is but obviously not know how much it's going to cost, I want to go in armed with something.

Anyone know what ball park figure I should be looking at so I know if he will be competative or not.

Anyone able to help?

Keep the highest area under the stairs for coats and as the space reduces in size, go for some drawers.

I've got an understairs cupboard which you need to step down into. I'm really struggling to find any ideas on how to kit it out for storage. They all seem to be just like the previous image with the drawers.

I need to fit a small 6U rack in there but I'm struggling to figure out the best location for it.

Could you not use the slider drawer internals, like corner units in kitchens? So the innards move around as you open the drawer.
