Hi everyone

I am running my 4770k at stock for a bit and I was looking to undervolt it to see if it would be a bit cooler. What would be the best method of doing this? I set my overclock with a "manual" voltage, but I would still like the volts to fluctuate up and down as necessary. Should I use "offset" and put a minus offset in?

In theory the easiest thing to do is just put a negative offset in like you say.

However the best method IMO to lower temperatures would;d be to de-lid the processor and replace the stock thermal compond between the die and heatspreader with some liquid metal TIM. I saw a 20 degree improvement on my 4770k when i did that.

I undervolted my 4770k, just lower the off-set.

I can't recall what i'm lowered by but it's quite a margin, make a real different to your drop in temps. I lowered core temps by around 10c just by undervolting.
