so im trying to help my cousin with this and all we are trying to do is have an offset like i have on my r7 3700x which reduces my cpu vcore and still alows my cpu to boost upto its max.

so for reference i have my offset set to -0.125 and my cpu still behaves like it was before i set that just it has lowers temps.
when i try this for my cousin it stops his cpu from boosting completely and all tests max his cpu out at 3800mhz. nothing else is getting changed.

Don't think an offset will work properly on 5000 series CPUs if PBO is enabled so either disable it or try using the curve optimizer instead as its the 5000 series smart Undervolting version.

Ok thanx for the help. I told him to just leave it as is, it's hard to guide someone through this stuff who is only just starting to get into computers over discord.
