Unexpected Week Off

My exams finished yesterday - and I didn't realise I now have a week off. I want to do something worthwhile, so fancy a trip somewhere. Bit of a loose question - but does anybody have any suggestions? Anybody else done something like this i.e. on a whim?
 
I'm from Kent so I've been to London more times I can count :)

I don't really have a fixed budget - but nothing silly of course! I wouldn't mind a few days away rather than a day trip.

I'm up for anything really, though I'm not really into beach holidays as I'm brown, and erm, get bored lying on the sand.

Thinking possibly Portugal (Europe's probably freezing atm) or Morocco though not sure where to visit in those countries..
 
Hmm...trouble is I really want to go somewhere new, and I can't go for that long so I don't really wanna leave Europe. The trouble is, I've done most parts - or the parts I haven't done it's far too cold atm :(
