I am completely lost as to why this may happen but ever since i built my PC my computer has had a kernel power error (event ID 41) at a random time each day between august and now. There are a few days where it hasn't happened but its very strange behaviour, the pc will reboot and then continue as if nothing has happened.

I suspect it may be the pc trying to enter sleep mode or similar and something going wrong but have no proof of this.

Running windows 10 with all the latest updates and it has never happened whilst I've been using it to the best of my knowledge.

Any opinions ?

Asus X99-S mobo with a 5930k sitting happily at 4.5Ghz and a EVGA G2 850W power supply unit. temps are good and the system is stable bar this attention seeking reboot issue.

Wazza300: Using 16GB of ram and using a fixed cpu voltage with no underclocking at idle. Will look at different overclocking settings if i cant make any more progress.

Bioshockeruk: have tried sleep and then awaken with no problems, currently machine has been running for 25 hours and 48 minutes with no hiccups.

left on the list is memtest and then i have run out of ideas, thanks for the help so far :)
