How does anyone drink this!?!? I didn't get the flavoured whey because I assumed that is only nice if you are having it with milk, and that with water it'd be quite nasty tasting?

I just tried it and heaved. Is there anyway to sweeten it up? Since it turns in to a milk-like substance once you've blended it, I thought milkshake flavouring might sweeten it but it made it even worse! I downed it in the end, holding my nose, but bloody hell.. I'm not sure if a ripped body is worth going through all this for. :D

Any suggestions!?

Milk takes a lot longer than water to digest. It's vital that your body gets a hit of protein within a set amount of time, after a workout, and drinking it with water is the best way to achieve this. The same can also be said first thing in the morning. The only time I drink mine with milk is before I go to bed.

You big girls blouse :p it hardly tastes of anything at all. If you really are that much of a soft drinker then you can always buy some Nesquik and flavour it with that but don't use too much it's full of simple carbs.... so not too good.

You should try my pre workout drink:
Creatine CEE,
Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG)
Taurine,
Green tea extract

Now that's foul tasting  :D

When I first had the unflavoured stuff it was like ugh but then I got use to it. I've been using unflavoured whey in water for maybe 3 years or more now. I save more money this way, get a better protein blend and its just easier.

It'll make no difference. Just drink it with milk pwo, you'll recieve more protein and some carbs from the milk. Oh... and it'll take 100x better.

To quote from testosterone nation:

"One of the most pervasive myths in bodybuilding today is the existence of a 1-hour post workout window following our workout. In fact, for the stimulation of protein synthesis, this window lasts at least 24 hours! In keeping with this, a morning shake with a similar nutrient composition as our pre/post workout drink will have the same effect on protein synthesis! Happy growing."

Don't get me wrong. have that protein shake after training but worrying about the difference between water and milk is pointless.
