Unfunny comedians

I love ross noble, his ability to think on his feet rather than having a fully scripted show is great.

Agreed, I find Ross Noble breathtakingly funny.

Finding the amount of love for Mickey Flanagan in this thread surprising - I watch him and it's literally painful, but then I guess that just goes to show how subjective comedy is!

Cant think of any comedian that i "hate" i find some people funnier than others but have such a weird sense of humor i find most things funny.

Frankie Boyle and Jimmy Carr have me in stitches, most of the stuff that people are offended by i find funny and its that kind of stuff i find my self watching more than others.

I also love Ross Noble...he must have 5 minutes of a show scripted and the rest is him just going off on tangents he is brilliant

When these threads appear every few months, I always wonder if people have actually seen the comedians live before. What you see on TV on panel shows is normally a poor reflection of what they do live. When I saw Reginald D hunter last year, he said "I do TV for the pay, live is art."

And I can safely say that Tim Vine is very, very funny live. Juvenile but funny.

I don't find lee Evans funny at all.although a lot like him

I don't think many people hate him, although his stand up is not as crude as others is. Others who like to push boundaries of what they can get away with. And the audience of today do like people who are crude and people who like to push the boundaries of comedy, ala what the simpsons and south park is of tv animated comedy which is why the Simpsons is pretty much coming to and end.

I still like lee evans, I went to see him at area tour and fair play he still makes me laugh like he used to years ago, but his style is much tamer than others

Dunno if it is just me but I think Ricky Gervais is an annoying ***. I do like An Idiot Abroad but both him and Stephen Merchant totally spoil it by being the real idiots of the show.

Bill Bailey, now that man has some serious talent!

Unfunny comedians? Nearly all of them. I hate stand up, same jokes from different shows and I know most comedians are up there own ass. I find it silly people get paid to be funny, it's not funny if you're trying and when I see them telling the same jokes from another show it makes me cringe. I do like some like Brian Regan and Izzy Eddard.

Dave Chappelle, now thats what i call a proper comedian. Prefer American comedians compared to UK ones. UK comedian i find lack delivery, there just one liners. Although i do like Kevin Bridges and the scouser. Franky boyle's good in shows but sucks in stand up. Lee mack was decent but his last stand up was so bad i felt embarrased for him, it was like he lost all his confidence.

Katt Williams first couple of stand ups were legendary, last one not so good. Death comedy jam was just simply epics. Comedy all stars with Shaq is also worth checking out.

All women comedians suck as far as im concerned, shappy, that dawn french, the fat one with glasses are just horrible.

edit - that iranian fat bloke comic is pretty good, although only watched one of his stand ups.

the worst comedians are Little britain who are totally unfunny. The best comedians are saturday night prime time tv from the 80s, such as two ronnies, morecambe and wise and bob monkhouse.

victoria wood was terrible as a standup and the best sketch for me was "4 candles" by two ronnies
