AVG doesn't have real-time scanning, it slows your computer down massively, and it's detection rate is laughable.

because avast has Real Time scanning, you never need to do full scans (which AVG need daily/weekly!) and you can choose which real-time scanning modules you want.

Avast! is FAR better than AVG.

Amen to that, AVG is carried by name etc alone, Avira is also very good but slower than Avast. .

The fact that AVG has to do a full scan daily has never bothered me as its always run at 3am, so i never notice it, lol

unless the computer's not turned on at 3am, whereby it'll then do it whenever the hell it feels like
