Hi all! I'll be buying a laptop soon ahead of going to university, so I'm looking for something dependable and less than £500. I'm not so concerned about speed, but I need it to have a good battery life, and be stable as a stable thing.
I'm leaning towards Asus but only because I know of their motherboard reputation, not that I've ever owned one myself! [DFI here]
Thinking of getting a PDA-phone with it as well - would it be worth it? I already use a WM2003 phone and couldn't live without it, so would I be gaining anything? Edit - budgeting up to another £200 for the PDA-Phone
One last thing - are all the OCUK laptops including OS in the price? I already own Vista, so I don't really want to buy it again!
Cheers all!
