I have been looking at the Samsung NC10 or an Asus EEE PC 1000HE. But I don't really know much about netbooks and i'm not set on getting either of these netbooks, they just seem to be the most popular from what I can tell. I've read some reviews and they both are well received it seems but I was hoping for some advice on the subject. :)

The Samsung is supposed to be very good indeed for the money and I'd go with that out of the two. Also it looks prettier than most netbooks i've seen. The Eee series just look like kiddies laptops to me, much prefer the Samsung it looks way classier. :)

You mean samsung in general or the nc10? There seems to be many models which have all the same spec, so I presume prehaps some have different keyboards, batteries and screens? Any recommendations on different samsung models?

The NC10 I would go for. Comes in a choice of colours, blue being the nicest in my opinion. Don't go for white, it's a B**** to keep clean. It's great value for what it is, You can get them cheaper than £300 in a lot of places, and the battery is supposed to be absolutely great because they come as standard with a 6-cell battery unlike a lot of netbooks that come with 3-cell.
