Uni PC Spec

Just had some paperwork in from my uni detailing the min spec PC they reckon I should have. My spec is as below and totaly trashes their recommended spec, the only thing I am unsure of is how AMDs compare with Intels. They recomend a P4 at 3.2Gig whats the AMD equivilant? Im doing architecture so need something with a bit of grapics and rendering ability.

Your 3000 is pretty much identical to the intel chip. :)
