Uni -Private Accomodation.. Newcastle

Im starting in september.

and somebody that is already there who lives at home has asked if i wana move into private accomodation with him and someone else...

would this be better than me moving into uni accomodation by myself?

would i still be entitled to the loans to help pay for the living arrangements.. as its pricey..
?

hmm i dont even know costs, or what im entitled too.. or anything.... feels like i should be researching it or getting info.. but i know jack going too fast too
