I've been reading a few of the library staff's academic blogs from my university, and a couple have been demonstrating how many e-journals and refworks users there have been, still showing a considerable (5%) of the total students still accessing these over the summer months.

I feel slightly underprepared now, especially as I'll be starting my final year, and am going to be spending the next 2-3 weeks getting back up to scratch with things, models etc.

I probably shouldn't worry, seen as all my friends at uni have just been off all over the place but I was just wondering. So I've set up a Zotero account and started using Google Reader :p

Have you been studying?

Nope, I didn't do any work during any of my summers (other than my dissertation fieldwork). Even then I only did the fieldwork and didn't follow any of it up. :p

Yes, but only because I was ill all second semester/exam time and so had a resit last month. I wouldn't have even looked at my notes otherwise, my subject easy and I have plenty of books should I need to check something when I go back.

Nope :D

Then again iv been sitting waiting for the last week for Queens to pull its finger out with registration for next year (it's been a bit of a shambles the last 2 years).

Mate doing architecture has been doing his summer work over the last week or so though...

I've been together some final year project ideas together and working on placement log for when I return to uni (soon ) but other than that just enjoying my break really :)

I've done a small amount of preparation for the start of my PhD (working through a couple of text books and a few papers to get me back up to speed), but during my undergrad I can't say I really did anything over the summer, though that was because I was working either in a part-time job or placement.

It's designated a holiday for that reason. It's a holiday. A break from academic studies. You might aswell not bother having a summer holiday at all if all you're going to do is study.

Ive been on my placement over most of the summer!

So NO, Ive got this month to enjoy myself before starting my last year :D

Planned to study... but the typical "I can do it tomorrow" has been happening for the duration of the summer :)
I'll agree to that, it's been the same since Key Stage 2 SATS, it's not going to change. :p

I'm hopefully well and truly prepared anyway, installing Google Reader & Zotero just covers my back a bit.

Nope not at all :( didn't do as much as I should have before summer which led to resits which ive now done but probably screwed up as I kind of didn't really study enough for them .... so il await my fate next week when reassessment results come out.
