Hi, I've been using Windows 7 64 bit for a few days but have started to encounter problems. Whenever my computer restarts I lose internet connection, when I click on the Network icon in the tool tray I see 2 connections instead of one, one called "Network 2" and one called "Unidentified Network". I am not using a wireless router, I am connected directly Via cable.

The only fix I have found is to disable the connection and then run the Windows diagnostic to get connectivity again. Does anyone have a fix for this or know why it's happening ?

It's a clean install so I doubt it could be a virus or malware.

I had been using a T-mobile dongle for a short time which still gives me an option to connect even though the software is uninstalled if that makes a difference ?
