there isn't anything to turn on which says replication.

only AA and you can set tesselation to extreme also

im not getting sucked in to benching this over and over

so this is my 1 and only bench
clocks at 850 / 1250 and heaven is set as it loads up

Although not comparable due to no tesselaton, crossfire 3870 struggles on, just scrapping past the 1k barrier

Will give this a whirl when I get home. It would be useful if the default settings are used as the other heaven thread was a bit pointless as there were so many configs posted.

You need to turn Tesselation up to Extreme:

Thats the difference, more tesselation. 5870 gets around 850 points compared to crossfired 5770s with extreme tesselation, but even a 5970 still gets really low minimum FPS.
