I’ve got a UniFi network setup at home and want to add a G5 turret camera and G4 doorbell to the setup

They seem easy enough to add into the system but I’d like them to be visible on the Apple Home app

Is this possible?

Would like to check it can be done easy enough before buying

Scrypted or Homebridge will allow you to do this yes.

There are some caveats around SSO/Enhanced mode - but it works.

Homebridge is easy to setup and use, everything is ready to download on the website and the Homebridge Wiki has setup guides too.

There are plenty of other good step-by-step guides on YouTube and there is the homebridge reddit as well if you need a bit of extra help.

Yes, Scrypted is probably the favoured approach. You'll need to enable all motion events in UniFi protect for it to work properly. I'm going to set it up soon. Currently a long term Homebridge user but not for my UniFi gear (which is new).

Scrypted works well but in my opinion the Unifi Protect app is so good I opt to use that
