Unified Remote and Youtube?

I bought "unified remote" because I'm lazy. When I try and use the youtube remote it doesn't work. It comes up with the message "Ensure that Youtube has focus!" What the hell does this mean?

Normally means that it's the currently selected window on a PC for example.

It is but it wont let me skip through videos in a playlist.

Everything else works great, so good being able to control music, monitor and even shutting down the pc anywhere in range of my wifi
