It is a good score for a stock R9 290 but unfortunately you are in the wrong bench thread.

Lol, I wondered why a single 290x was almost the same score as my 295x2!

200+ points higher than mine.
Must check to see if mine is throttling at any point....GPU-Z is best to use right? Any temperatures near 75° and it'll throttle back won't it?

I use GPU-Z or HWmonitor, yeah it will throttle at 75c. My card hit 73c in that benchmark.
Have you disabled ULPS ?

No, I wasn't sure if it was required on the 295x2.
Wait your meant to have ULPS disabled?
Can make a very big difference with single cards and I suspect it will help on the 295X2.
I can just use Sapphire Trixx to disable it? MSI AB dont work properly for me.
As long as it is disabled that's the main thing.
I only use MSI AB to disable ULPS. For benching I use GPUTweak but unfortunately that does not have the option to turn ULPS off.

Most people disable it for gaming too.
You need to try it on and off as I have not tried turning it off on a dual card.

If i select Disable ULPS in Sapphire Trixx and restart it will be unticked again :S
