I thought you had a 7970?

I wish, just a lowly Gigabyte 7870, and i bought it 2 weeks before the prices came tumbling down, it cost me £240, had i waited i could have got a 7950 for that.

I do have the upgrade itch though, i'm waiting to see what Nvidia / AMD's next offering is, i want to step up into the elite group.

Had a go with Crysis 3 Open BETA, in it i found a game that i couldn't max, certainly not with any AA.... and that was it, now i want a better card.

Does CPU clock effect score at all? My run was on everyday CPU clock but could ramp it up if it would get me another notch up the leader board.
