Uniloc tripod

Got a Uniloc 1700 system major on way from eBay. One came up for sale which hadn't been used as a hammer.

The center column with elbow looks useful :-)

How long did it take to get used to it?

Well it arrived. Found it intuitive and easy to set up...

Unfortunately it isn't the major model as described so it's going back to seller.

The only one in good condition that's been on there for ages. Oh well.

It didn't feel heavy at all. Like weight in a tripod. Carbon fibre shock absorbtion isn't a match for mass in the wind.

Liked the Uniloc/Benbo column as it meant I could add 2kg counterweight from boom arm to bottom if desired.

Finally arrived from the Scilly Isles. 1600 System Major with ball head for £84.

Bargain I think.

Absolutely rock solid.
