Uninstall missing in Windows 8

Hi guys,

Add/Remove programs, might uninstall button that used to sit next to the Organise button has disapeared. It wouldn't be that big of an issue but when I right click on a program and click uninstall it kicks up a message:

an error occurred while trying to uninstall *****. It may have already been uninstalled.

Any ideas?

mate hasd that we tried loads we ended up doing the win8 recovery that just reinstalls OS files only

worked. think it was from hes upgrade

Tried running sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt?
