Uninstallation

Can anyone please recommend a good programme to uninstall ALL elements of a software installation?

CCleaner hasn't worked - is there anything else you can suggest please?

It's to uninstall the annoying bits McAfee security suite that are hanging around.

You probably don't want to hear this, but I had a mates machine like this a few months ago and eventually gave up trying to get rid of it all. Ended up reinstalling.

Safe Mode is a good call! - Will give that a cheeky stab!

Am also going to try "Advanced Uninstaller Pro"

Most AV programs have seperate "uninstallers" that can be downloaded that seek out every trace of a their particular products and remove them.

Very handy.
