Hey guys,
After using a router for a brief time, a friend of mine has decided to go back to using her orginal, bt supplied speedtouch 330 modem.
Although the driver was left installed when I put the router in, today when I went round to set the speedtouch up again the driver seemed corrupted and wouldn't accept the modem. It cited it as an 'unknown device' in windows device manager and wouldn't allow me to uninstall the driver (it went through the uninstall process, but still remains…). When you try and install a new driver over the old one, the instructions just tell you to uninstall the old driver first
I think the modem might also be faulty (the led's both go green once the machine boots, but then go out, one red led then comes on only to go out moments later and goes back to two solid greens – briefly…). I'm taking my own speedtouch round again on Monday to try out, but in the meantime, has anyone got any ideas about how to remove the current driver?
Using XP SP3 btw.
Cheers,
SW.
